BRV Men's Ministry

The BRV Men’s Ministry is a ministry for men, with our ultimate goal of being servants to God and bringing honor and glory to His name.

The men's ministry is available to help members and neighbors with needs that they are incapable of doing, such as yard work and repairs around the house. Men also do miscellaneous repairs around our church, and help out wherever needed. Anyone can contact Stan Raines directly, or through a member, with their needs and they will see if they can lend a helping hand.

There is a men's ministry meeting every 4th Thursday, January through October, in the fellowship building. Men have a meal, which is followed by a speaker who shares their testimony or a Bible lesson. Some come to present other ministry opportunities also. Thursday night ministry meetings may be canceled if another outing or event is planning during that month.

Since 2022, the men's ministry has hosted a fishing trip for the boys at Tabernacle Baptist Church's Children's home. There are so many opportunities to serve the Lord through this ministry. While men are considered to be 18 years and older, youth who are willing and want to be involved will not be turned away.

The men's ministry mission statement is to "unite men to become Godly men, have a foundation of biblical truth and prayer, and be inspired by Christ-centered worship and works."

BRV is blessed with a great group of men. We believe that to have a strong church, you must have strong men in Christ that are willing to serve God and the church with whatever it takes.
