Our Youth Sunday School meets every Sunday morning and focuses on practical, Bible-based teaching that helps students apply God’s truth to everyday life. Once a month, our youth and young adults gather together for a combined class and breakfast, creating opportunities to build stronger friendships and encourage one another in the faith.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Wednesday nights are the heart of our student ministry week. Each service features praise and worship led by our own youth worship team, giving students the opportunity to use their God-given talents to lead others in worship. Through music and biblical preaching, students are challenged to grow deeper in their walk with Christ and stand firm in today’s culture.

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 4:24

Arise Youth Conference is one of the highlights of our year, bringing students together for powerful preaching, uplifting worship, and life-changing fellowship. It is a time to step away from everyday distractions, grow closer to God, and be encouraged alongside other believers.

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”

James 4:8

Throughout the year, our youth participate in fun fundraisers like our Car Show, T-Shirt sales, and annual softball tournament. These events help support camps, conferences, mission opportunities, and special activities while teaching students the value of serving and working together.

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”

Colossians 3:23

Every year, BRV youth take a trip to Mars Hill to tube and ski at Wolf Ridge. Our Youth Worship Team is made up of students who have a heart for serving the Lord through music. By leading praise and worship during Wednesday night services and special events, they use their talents to glorify God and encourage others to worship Him.

“Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praises on the harp to our God.”

From overnight lock-ins to afterglows following special services, these events provide a fun and safe environment where students can build friendships and strengthen their faith together.

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.”

Hebrews 10:24-25

Throughout the year, our youth have opportunities to minister through music by participating in special singing services and church events. These outings allow students to share the Gospel through song while using their gifts to encourage others.

“Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.”

Psalm 96:3

Students face difficult questions every day, and our apologetics class during VBS helps them develop a biblical worldview and confidently explain what they believe. Through practical teaching and open discussion, they learn to stand firm in their faith with truth and compassion.

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you.”

1 Peter 3:15

We believe faith should be lived out. Throughout the year, our youth serve through local outreach projects, church ministries, and mission opportunities that encourage students to be the hands and feet of Christ.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.”

From summer camp and fellowships to service projects and seasonal activities, there is always something happening with Blue Ridge View Youth. These events create opportunities for students to grow in their faith, build lifelong friendships, and invite others to experience the love of Christ.
