At BRV we believe all believers are called to the mission field in some manner and to be witness unto Jesus Christ! We preach missions, encourage missions, support missions and participate in missions.
At BRV, we believe that it is important to support our members who are actively engaged in missions. BRV currently have members involved with Hope’s Women Center, Jesus Empowered Girls, Home with a Heart, and many others! BRV provides support to the missions of our members both financially and through participation.
In 2025 BRV began offering a Mission Scholarship which assists members who desire to be involved in Missions. Since 2025, BRV has helped in sending members to Toronto, Brazil, Cuba, Africa and others.
Each year BRV invites local missions w/in the community to share their mission with the church, and the church supports that mission financially. We have been blessed to welcome Feed a Hungry Child, United Christian Ministries, Christian Learning Center, The Dream Center, and many others!
BRV is proud to support Fellowship of Christian Athletes within our schools. Through FCA, BRV is actively engaged with six different schools.
BRV is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, and we give each year through the cooperative program.
BRV participates in the Annie Armstrong offering which supports missions within North America.
BRV participates in the Lottie Moon offering which supports international missions.
Each year BRV invites missionaries to share their mission with the church and then the church supports that missionary through giving. Since 2025 we have welcomed missionaries from Mexico, Haiti, as well as the Gideons.
BRV supports Operation Christmas Child and sends out numerous shoe boxes filled with gifts each year to children all over the world.
